Update from Down Under

Just before the 2015 AGM I received the following eMail from Guy Pedrick I managed to show it to most of the attendees at the AGM but here it is in all it’s glory for all the 97th.

“Hi Mike

How quick it comes around each year.Just a quick email to wish you all a very enjoyable time together we will be thinking of you all.

Jacquee and I have just completed the Otago Rail Trail ride in the centre of the South Island a 150km cycle trail on the old gold mining rail track across the tussic plains great scenic ride over three and a half days.   We were with a group of rotarians 16 in all which also added to the experience as all good company.   The two of us also had 3 days in Queenstown which is on a beautiful lake with a steamboat plying the lake with trips across to a remote farm up the lake. Its a wonderful setting and one the Asian visitors love as do we. The setting is picture postcard stuff we love it.   Now its down to a little saving and rest before we decide on the next adventure whilst the bodies are still up to it.

We have just had and are still getting a great summer probably the best since we have been here just a couple of wet days only since the end of November magic still shorts weather for a while I hope.   We have seen your temperatures a on the way up now so hope you have a good one like we are having.

Give our regards to all and have a good time.

Kindest Regards

Guy and Jacquee”
