It's a very old virtually un-restored/un-renovated village pub in the middle of nowhere - if there is such a place in the overcrowded south. The main bar is about 20ft x 15ft and that includes the bar, a fireplace and about six seats, the ceiling is very low (Pete had to duck most of the time) and still covered in yellow nicotine stains. Even the gents is outside - no glass in the windows, no heating or hot water and you pee up against a green painted wall - just like schooldays
